A Coastal Retreat in Ponte Vedra: Sophisticated Blue Cabinetry Meets Organic Warmth
This Ponte Vedra home strikes a beautiful balance between relaxed coastal vibes and refined, custom detail. Designed and installed by our team at Woodsman Kitchens & Floors, every element was carefully selected to blend function, form, and flow across the kitchen and open living space.
In the Kitchen
At the heart of the home is a spacious and soothing kitchen anchored by custom cabinetry from Shiloh. We used their beaded inset construction for a classic, furniture-like finish, paired with the Hanover door style and sleek slab drawer fronts for a more transitional feel.
The soft blue paint you’re seeing is Shiloh’s Niebla Azul, a perfect hue for a home near the ocean—cool, calm, and sophisticated. We paired it with a custom wood range hood and floating shelves to introduce warmth and natural contrast.
To complete the space, we installed Viatera’s Calacatta Suprema quartz countertops, mitered at a dramatic 6cm thickness and cascading into a waterfall leg on the peninsula. The subtle veining plays beautifully with the cabinetry color while offering durable, easy-care performance.
In the Living Room
Just beyond the kitchen, the living room cabinetry brings in a fresh but grounded tone with Aristokraft’s Winstead door style in Maple stained Quill. These built-ins echo the warmth of the kitchen’s shelving and hood, tying the open-concept space together.
Floating shelves mirror the kitchen’s design, offering space for display while keeping the room light and airy.
And for visual continuity, we carried the Calacatta Suprema quartz into the living room, giving both rooms a seamless sense of flow.
Designed for Real Life
From the hidden appliance garage to the beverage center and layered lighting, this project was designed with real living in mind. It’s a functional space for entertaining, relaxing, and everyday life—all while being effortlessly beautiful.
